If you have a spare hour and fifteen minutes I highly recommend watching/listening to this performance by indie band Hippo Campus. Or if you don’t just look them up and listen to them. They’ve become one of my favorite bands over the past few months and if you’re into the likes of Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club, COIN, et al. then I’m sure you’ll like them too. Their very well thought out debut album Landmark is easily one of my favorites for 2017 and well worth a listen.
Favorite songs: South, Violet, Way It Goes, Poems, Buttercup, also all the others
Bonus: A cover of ELO’s “Don’t Bring Me Down” that they did for the AV Club
